EOS and accessories vendor Logitech has reported strong Q3 2019 sales, with double-digit growth in several of its operating divisions.
For the three months ended 31 December 2018, sales were up 8% in constant currency to $864 million. This was led by impressive growth in Video Collaboration (+60% to $77.1 million), Tablet (+34%), Gaming (+23%), and PC Webcams (+21%).
Adjusted operating profit was up 22% to $143 million compared to Q3 2018.
However, its Smart Home and Mobile Speakers business both saw dramatic declines in sales compared to the prior year period, dropping 49% and 35%, respectively.
Commenting on the results, Logitech CEO Bracken Darrell said: “We delivered record sales and profits in our biggest quarter of the year. Our portfolio drove double-digit growth across Gaming, Video Collaboration, and Creativity & Productivity.”
As a result, the company has raised its FY2019 outlook to between $340-$345 million in operating profit, with sales growth of 9-11% in constant currency.
